What is the difference between using MLA and APA formatted sources?

There are a lot of differences. MLA is usually used in fields like English or art while APA has more to do with law and social work. They use in-text citations differently. In MLA, the source is cited within paranthesis; in APA a superscript with a number is used. In the bibliographies, the orders are different. Quotes are formatted differently as well as headers..and so on and so forth...
