OpenStudy (homeworkhelp):

What is the surface area of the pyramid shown to the nearest whole number? The diagram is not drawn to scale. A) 21ft^2 B) 48 ft^2 C) 57 ft^2 D) 105 ft^2 Is the answer 57? I wasn't really sure what formula to use for this question so if there's another formula I should use that would mean so much to me. Thank you.

@Michele_Laino Sorry for pestering you again, ha. But do you know the formula for this? I'm not sure the one I used was the correct one.

OpenStudy (michele_laino):

total Surface \(S_T\), is: \[{S_T} = \left( {\frac{{3 \times 8}}{2}} \right) \times 4 + \left( {3 \times 3} \right) = ...?\]

OpenStudy (homeworkhelp):

57, correct?
