OpenStudy (narissa):

Okay lol i need help with my intoduction.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

are there any other guidelines or directions?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

if not, I would recommend picking 2 or 3 major categories to focus on just an example: paragraph 1: introduction paragraph 2: Effects on the Body paragraph 3: Health Risks paragraph 4: Legal Issues paragraph 5: Conclusion

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

writing the introduction is actually easier if you write the body paragraphs first

OpenStudy (narissa):

Yea i always have trouble with introduction.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

do you have some idea of what sorts of things you will be comparing?

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

like, I know it's about Marijuana and cigarettes, but what are some things that you are comparing between them?

OpenStudy (narissa):

The effect they have on your brain and body. I guess which is safer.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

makes sense

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

so, your introduction should show the reader what the paper is going to be about, without giving any specific details

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

(just throwing out an example)

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

Marijuana and tobacco (cigarettes) are two commonly used drugs in the United States [[or wherever it is you live]]. Cigarettes are composed of tobacco and man-made compounds, whereas marijuana is harvested from the cannabis plant. Despite their differences in composition and legality, they both can have harmful effects on the brain, the heart, and other bodily organs and functions. However, marijuana has legal medical uses whereas tobacco generally does not.

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

(you don't have to use my words or ideas, but that's a general idea of how long it should be, and how broad)

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

have you written anything so far?

OpenStudy (narissa):

Sorry my dogs got out, thank you soo soo much! You've helped me a lot!! @Vocaloid

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

OpenStudy (narissa):

Vocaloid (vocaloid):

(I just wrote mine based off what I know already)

OpenStudy (narissa):

Okay thank you!
