So we have (0,-8), (1, 0) and (2,8) The ratio of the of the differences are constant \[m=\frac{ 0-(-8) }{ 1-0 }=8=\frac{ 8-0 }{ 2-1 }\] which indicates the points are on a straight line as BangtanSky suggested
