Question about Recommendation Letter and Volunteer Certificate (I know I got one already, but this time it's a different question)
So it has been almost a year since I received my recommendation letter and it brought back memories. However, times have changed since the issue date of my letter. For example, I'm a 99SS user now so the part about being "93SS and the top 5%" isn't currently reflected on now. Moreover, I've answered 2,257 questions, so based on the 2 minute average formula doesn't my hours become 75 hours worth of community service? I'm wondering if users who had purchased before are forced to purchase again to have the letter and certificate updated? That would be 100 owlbucks (roughly $20) just for minor changes? I know it's been a while since I last logged on and I got frustrated when my fan count went down which was why I stormed off for a bit. I got attached to all the testimonials, the fans, and everyone who gave positive feedback, so I felt crushed when OpenStudy deleted old accounts. I do feel a bit better though as time does heal all digital wounds. I'll be popping on here once in a while.
@Preetha
You'd need to buy another one.
People usually ask for those when they need ot for college or other similar purposes. If you want to avoid paying up another $20 then it's best to just ask for one of those when you need them. Although it takes a while for preetha to write them up...you need to ask asktleast a few months in advance.

Whoa that's steep for just minor changes. I wish those documents came with a one year warranty with purchase. At least when I got files, my SS was over 90. It would've been horrible if it was stuck at 88SS. And, I know it takes a while like 2-3 months for it.
That's for LOR but what about the volunteer certificate how long does that take?
I had the same wait time. I did request the two documents at once before I ranted and stormed off last year :p
