there are only 10th, 11th, and 12th graders at a high school. the ratio of 10h graders 'To the Schools Total Population' is 86:255, and the ratio of 11th graders 'TSTP' is 18:51. if 1 student is chosen at random from the entire school, which grade is that student most likely to be in? a) 10th b) 11th c) 12th d) all grades likely e) cannot be determined from the given info
i chose A
where is the ratio for the 12th graders
it didnt give one, i just amused it was smaller numbers
ah i see
i think that you might have to make the last number of the two ratios the same, and then the higher first number is the answer so like the number of 11th graders would be like 222:225 but im not that good with math :P
it could also be e cuz they didnt give the 12th graders. didnt even consider that...
originally i thought a or c... but there's no info for c... im going with E now. unless you have to do math to find the ratio for 12th graders
