OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

errg I keep getting this problem wrong...

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

\[\int\limits_{0}^{1}\frac{ y }{ e^{7y }}dy= \int\limits_{0}^{1}ye^{-7y}dy\]

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Almost exactly the same as the last problem you posted. With a 7 instead of 4. Just reuse your working.

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

I get \frac{1}{49}-\frac{8}{49}e^{-7}+C

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Shouldn't be hard to do the EXACT same steps with a single different number :P

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

\[\frac{ 1 }{ 49 }-\frac{ 8 e^{-7y}}{ 29 }\]

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

I did let me show you how I did it

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

u= y du= dy v= -1/7e^-7y dv= e^-7y

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

\[\large -\frac{ te^{-4t} }{ 4 }-\frac{ 1 }{ 16 }e^{-4t}\] Replace all 4s with a 7, and replace 16 with 49

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

\[-\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }ye^{-7y}-\int\limits_{0}^{1}-\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }e^{-7y} dy\]

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

\[-\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }ye^{-7y}+\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }(-\frac{ 1 }{ 7 }e^{-7y})_{0}^{1}\]

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

What am i doing wrong :s

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

fandue

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

that was easier than i thought

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

@agent0smith can you see what I did wrong?

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I posted everything you'd need in my last post

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

idk I followed all the steps :'(

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Go back and do as i said in my last post, see if you notice any mistakes in what you have already, compared to what you get from what i suggested

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

*whines* why are we cryin

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

@jim_thompson5910

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

^^jim will help

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

I've already provided all the help you need to check your answer. Which looks correct, just plug in your limits

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

it looks like @agent0smith is already helping out. No need for me to jump in

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

^^HEY THATS ME

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

BINGO! I just found out my mistake

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

You didn't have a mistake.

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

mah mammia..im confused

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

D::::::::::::: NVM that's wrong too

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Brahh what is wrong with me

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

stop typin for a sec

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

im tryna look at the question

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

I don't deserve that title

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

its the question it murdered my google account

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

look

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

jjimmy's back

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

@Fanduekisses you lost a negative sign somewhere or you introduced one when it shouldn't be there. The -1/49 should be +1/49. Double check your work again. Other than that, it looks good

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

oh lol and that C is unnecessary my bad

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

lmaoo all this time...

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

lets sing drake in victory of this math problem

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

that + C hehe this is a definite integral

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

Thanks guys!

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yes true, the +C shouldn't be there

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

trophies

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

I wish I didn't have to take calc 2 in the summer. I need a break. :(

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

i am your break

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

boy flutter outta here

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

that girl in my last profile pic was a porn star not me

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

i dont care about the girl

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

you have a great personality i wanna know you

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):

i dont text girls for what they look like i learned my lesson for doing that a long time ago

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

Would've helped if you'd actually posted your whole work lol, what you were showing us was correct, what you were doing off OS was wrong

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

hehe yes you're right.

OpenStudy (fanduekisses):

I will do that from now on because I tend to do simple mistakes and stuff.

OpenStudy (therealone21-1):
