@kelvin8262
In very simple terms, php is a server side language that can be Embedded in HTML code.
what u mean by "server side language"
Interpretation and execution are both done on the server, not the user's machine.
As opposed to Java applets, which are executed on the user's machine.
ok thnks
btw what language is java
In case you're wondering, PHP can do a lot of things you cannot do with HTML alone. Java is a language by itself, but the syntax is very close to C. So if you already program in C, the syntax is very adaptable or even transferable.
how is android development related to java ?
I am not a developer of Android, but I understand that some developers use Java, probably because Java runs on almost any Platform.
are u a web designer or tester or any other IT professional

No, I just do programming for fun. I think there are IT professionals and hobbyists like myself around here. Hopefully some of the people that you tagged are IT Professional. Actually, this question would have attracted IT professionals in the CS section. BTW, you must have done well with your combinatorics course, you worked hard for it!
