OpenStudy (marcelie):

can someone give me an example of this. like how would they look like ?

OpenStudy (marcelie):

\[\frac{ d }{ dx } (e^u) = e^u \frac{ du }{ dx }\]

OpenStudy (marcelie):

\[\frac{ d }{ dx } (a^u)= (\ln a) (a^u) \frac{ du }{ dx }\]

OpenStudy (agent0smith):

An example of what...? For the ones with u, just replace with some function of x, like x^2 or 3x or whatever you like. Make your own examples. The middle one just looks incorrect.

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

Yea these are just derivative rules, not sure what you want to do with them?

OpenStudy (legomyego180):

For example: The derivative of \[e ^{4x}\] would be \[e ^{4x}\times4\]

OpenStudy (mathmate):

Example: \(\Large \frac{d}{dx}e^{sin(x)}=e^{sin(x)}\frac{d}{dx}(sin(x))=e^{sin(x)}cos(x)\)

OpenStudy (marcelie):

thanks everyone <3 . Got it now :)
