OpenStudy (mjdennis):

@Cas_fangirl_14, please look at the Code of Conduct for OpenStudy. The point is to be giving help, not direct answers. http://openstudy.com/code-of-conduct Worst of all, your answer is INCORRECT. (But that is what you get for trusting someone else's answer without checking it. Systematic sampling would mean taking every 3rd apartment, or some similar but still random method. @Theoneandonly, I suggest taking each of the other words in the answer and doing a google search on "_____ sampling" to narrow down your choices.

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

@Sylph Ha, yes! Thanks; that made me smile today.

OpenStudy (.sammi.):

Random - Well, it's a completely random Convenience - Getting a survey at a mall or a public area, because of that certain location Cluster - An example os a cluster sampling is trying to get sample the population, but putting the people it into separate groups depending on their neighborhood. Stratified - Let's say a teacher is teaching a class. The teacher divides the class into 4 subgroups. The teacher chooses random students to be in those 4 subgroups. There is some videos you can watch online that can explain the difference of these sample types. Most of them are a visual representation and I believe it would help me better ;) It may look like all of these are the same, but take a look at some of these videos and you will see that they are not :)
