OpenStudy (dragontears1128):

can someone help me with this problem thanks to who ever is willing to help please explain..... Who is correct?

OpenStudy (alexatiger):

What's the problem?

OpenStudy (dragontears1128):

here it is

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

OK, both have the same problem in the first line. Did either one or both follow the correct steps to solve?

OpenStudy (dragontears1128):

that's all the problem says and I'm confused

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

Why are you confused? You should know how to solve equations.by the time they give you this. \[C = \frac{ 5 }{ 9 } (F-32)\] What steps do you take to get the F by itself?

OpenStudy (dragontears1128):

its been awhile i done something like this

OpenStudy (dragontears1128):

they both look the same to me

OpenStudy (mjdennis):

Well, you should probably multiply both sides of the equation by something. 'Something' that will leave the quantity (F-32) alone on the right side.
