Heat transfers from a body when it's surrounding temperature is lower than that of it's. Heat transfer will cease only when the system attains equilibrium.

Were you supposed to break this down further? You could probably make a chart, because I assume you learned the three _types_ of transfers, and then you have four types of materials (hot coffee, a warm ceramic mug, cool air, and the cold surfaces in the freezer.
