I understand that, but you are not guiding properly either. There is a way to guide students, you can't just tell me something equals something and it really doesn't. If you are not certified to guide students in the right path, then simply stop.!. I am not demanding the right answer, nor am I try to look for the answer. If last digit is >=5, then, we round of the preceding number. But, that too only when preceding number is odd.

So, for example,
0.984704 ;)
Last is not >5, so, just truncate it
Then, skip a few ones...
0.9847
7>5 So, it goes into pending, but 4 is even so, no rounding,
Just keep on doing this & you will get 1... :D
