OpenStudy (donnie1999):

no

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

@priyar

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

@priyar I know both of them added is 2+3i sqrt 3 but I don't know if that helps ?

OpenStudy (priyar):

try multiplying them

OpenStudy (priyar):

you can refer to this link for learning dot product: https://www.mathsisfun.com/algebra/vectors-dot-product.html

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

@priyar so the answer would be B?

OpenStudy (phi):

They want you to multiply the two complex numbers.

OpenStudy (priyar):

what made you say B? please show your work

OpenStudy (phi):

you could use the same idea as FOIL for multiplying binomials if you know that.

OpenStudy (priyar):

pls ignore what i told you about dot product.. this is the multiplication of two complex nos..

OpenStudy (donnie1999):

@priyar thanks but I got the answer correct

OpenStudy (priyar):

\[(1+i \sqrt{3}) * (1+2i \sqrt{3})\]

OpenStudy (priyar):

oh that's great! good job!
