i need help understanding how to square factor, is there a formula or something?
i might have worded my question wrong lol
Yeah I don't think square factor is a thing :P What is the scale factor from 6, to 8? ie what number do you multiply by 6, to get 8?
yeah, maybe that's the question.
lol
If I needed to scale up 5 to get 12, I'd multiply 5 by 2.4. Why? Because 12/5 = 2.4.
6*1.3=8 but the 1.3 the 3 is repeating
That doesn't matter, multiply that to 9 to get your answer
Good job. But i'd either use 1.33333333333333333333333333333333333333333 Or better yet use 4/3.
ew fraction blugh
multiply 1.3 by 4 then divide by 9?
divide it by 3 and then multiply it with 4.
o my god make up your mind what do i do im so confused now
It was typo and I hit the post button, sorry
i divide by 3 then multiply by 4?
yes
@errinss what was your scale factor? 4/3 right? So you multiply that by any side on the small shape, to get the big one.
when you multiply a fraction to any number, multiply the numerator with it and divide the answer by the denominator.
i got 12 the answers 12, right?
(4/3)*9 = 12
yes, that's correct
