OpenStudy (kianna0098):

A bag contains two red balls and five blue balls. You draw out a ball, record its color, replace it, and then draw out a second ball. What is the probability that you draw out a red ball AT LEAST once?

OpenStudy (kianna0098):

A: 0.28 B: 0.49 C: 0.71 D: is crossed out

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

what is the probability on each draw of drawing a ball which is NOT a red ball?

OpenStudy (whpalmer4):

Take that probability, then find the probability of doing that twice in a row. This is the probability of not drawing any red balls. Subtract that probability from 1 (a certainty, the set of all possibilities), and you have the probability you seek.
