OpenStudy (i_kyky):

If you push a 900N refrigerator with the same force as you lift a 40N dumbbell, the dumbbell will move faster. Which of Newton's laws is this an example of and how do you know?

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

ok hold on man

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

i think its the law of gravitational pull and because the dumbbell is lighter so it can move faster than the refrigerator they both have two different masses so yeah i think it is the law of gravity from newton

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

and i know this bc i studied this before and i remembered it so yeah the law of gravity from newton

OpenStudy (i_kyky):

but what about momentum

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

momentum is when the quantity of a body is moving

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

the body is gaining or the impetus is gaining by a moving object

OpenStudy (i_kyky):

thank you

OpenStudy (maurticewilliams):

u welcome
