Why does Emily wingspaninson capitalize most of the nouns in these lines from her poem "A curious Cloud surprised the Sky"? A curious Cloud surprised the Sky, 'Twas like a sheet with Horns; The sheet was Blue— The Antlers Gray— It almost touched the lawns. to draw attention to certain ideas to give the poem a singsong effect to provide a unique twist to the poem to reflect the unpredictable nature of life to divide the important from the mundane

What do you think it is?

d

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

I would agree with D. Nothing else makes sense to me. I'd say im about 85% sure that it's D

OpenStudy (ashtonfoshee):

85

OpenStudy (ashtonfoshee):

lol ok

OpenStudy (yoloshroom):

I'm a bit torn between A , D and E But if i had to choose it'd be D. A doesnt make as much sense as D does, so i give D and E the higher probability. Between D and E I'd say D mainly because the poem is called "A Curious Cloud Supervised The Sky." Which promotes the thought of unpredictability. TL;DR D is the best option in my opinion
