OpenStudy (feynanon):

Two sources of sound placed as in the picture (will attach), at a distance x=3m from O, one hears a minimal sound. Find λ, frequency and other stuff.

OpenStudy (sachintha):

Is this all of the information given?

OpenStudy (feynanon):

Yes, it is. I guess I can get the extra distance with some triangles there, and since it's MINIMAL noise it must mean that lambda=1/2 or a multiple of 1/2. So this is what I ended up with Velocity of sound=340 m/s extra distance=2 extra distance= 1/2 lambda lambda=4m V=LambdaxFreq Freq= V/Lambda Do you think this is ok?
