Oh, I would say anyone who is a fan of Broadway musicals needs to check out Lin Manuel Miranda's work. To the naked eye, his musical is hip hop based on Alexander Hamilton's life. I found myself obsessing over it! LMM clearly has a knack for writing AND theater! His first masterpiece, In the Heights, in about a bunch of Hispanic immigrants. My favorites from In the Heights are the opening, (called In The Heights), Champagne, and Breathe. Not only did Lin Manuel Miranda write the play, but he also played the lead, Usnavi. Now on to Hamilton. This is currently on of Broadway's most popular musicals because of its fun hip hop attitude. I actually like all of the slower heart felt songs better, however. My top FAVORITE songs from Broadway EVER are both from Hamilton. I love Wait for It, sung by Leslie Odom Jr. who plays Aaron Burr and One Last Time, sung by Christopher Jackson and Lin Manuel Miranda
