OpenStudy (mathmate):

Hypothesis and conclusion are part of the reasoning process. Induction is the reasoning process that generalizes observations. "Today, it's sunny. Tomorrow it's sunny. Therefore all week is going to be sunny." Deduction is the reasoning that make a specific conclusion out of many observations, each step is based on valid observation and solid reasoning. "a=b, and b=c, therefore a=c, based on the property of transistivity."
