Sketch the graph of each quadratic function

OpenStudy (abbles):

Check my work?

OpenStudy (abbles):

Y = x^2 - 2x -3

OpenStudy (abbles):

The vertex should be at (1, -4) , -1 and 3 are both x intercepts, (2,-3) is a point on the parabola and (4,5) as well. It opens upward.

OpenStudy (prathamesh_m):

Yes that's right

OpenStudy (abbles):

Thanks. I have two more. y - 5 = -2(x+1)^2 and the vertex is at (-1, 5), x-intercept is at (0, 3), it opens downward, (-2, 3) is a point on the parabola, (-3, -3) and (1, -3) as well. Sound about right?

OpenStudy (abbles):

Here are the first two graphs

OpenStudy (abbles):

The third is y = (x+2)(x-3) and I attached the graph

OpenStudy (abbles):

@Vocaloid You got a second to look these over?

OpenStudy (prathamesh_m):

All three are correct

OpenStudy (abbles):

Okay, thanks :)
