Medals 5 I have this wall
It protects my scars
Torn apart and opened
Feeling so bruised and broken
It's made of glass
No one is able to get past
Built it so high
It touches the sky
You can touch and see through
But you'll never be able to pass through
It's in my defense
That I put up this fence
Keeping people out
Never coming out
Don't wanna get hurt
So I avoid the outside world
Heartbroken too many times
I open up and all I get is lies
I shut down
Keeping everyone out
It's not healthy
But it suits me
You can touch this glass
But you'll never see past
Past this smile is something so hurtful
Never thinking twice about tomorrow
Letting one person in
Has everyone pushing and shoving to get in
But I have this wall
Shatterproof and built oh so tall
I don't want to let anyone in
People I love and trust aren't even welcome in
Give me time and I'll open up
Just please don't give up
It's only glass
You can still see my past
You can see me
I can see you
So prefect and ready to explore the truth

I promise this isn't just a rhyme
I hope you see what I'm trying to say

When I read it in my head it sounded really good. This should be like a piano ballad or something. Keep up writing music it cheers anyone up.
