So I have been trying to use Brainly. I answer questions correcly, but I am getting warned multiple times for explaining, but not giving the answer. Are you only allowed to give direct answers on Brainly? I'm confused..
Brainly is an answer site.
Not a peer to peer study site.
^ Sadly
Two totally separate concepts.
Ok. I didn't know it was for only answers. I thought just a lot of people just gave out answers, but I guess it is Brainly's thing
well what i dont understand is in the warning it says so that users can learn but just giving to answer no one learns
(OpenStudy) Don't provide someone with just the answer - explain the process, and help guide them through understanding the problem. VS (Brainly) Do your best to provide helpful Answers and thoughtful Questions that will help all users of the Brainly Services to succeed in school
Well I believe guiding the users is more successful than giving the answer. It helps the students with similar problems in the future. Anyways, thank you, Snuggs
That's not the way you're supposed to do it on Brainly.
Thank you for letting me know ;)
I'm trying to help on Brainly some too. I have to give answers and it kills me.
It will kill me as well, but I guess I gotta do what I can to accept thus, ahah
to accept this*
If you want to help, yes.
Thank you, again :)
:)
@sammixboo You weren't given any warnings - the notifications your received were the reasons for why your answers or comments were deleted :P [just a clarification because these don't count against you when applying for mod over there, but actual warnings do count against] as an ex-Brianly mod, I'm always open for anyone's questions/clarifications ^_^" for example, "Google is your friend" is not an acceptable answer on OS or Brainly; links can't be included anywhere (questions or answers); the report button should only be used when something needs to be deleted; etc, etc
Ahah, well that person was asking a question I couldn't answer without getting warned, and if they were really curious about it they could Google it. Unless if he was a troll, of course. Thank you, though.
Wait, @Jigglypuff314 how would you get the 5 Brainliest questions to rank up??
"Brainliest Answer" is awarded by the Asker to the better response when: either 1. Two people have answered their question, they can mark one as better than the other this way or 2. Only one person has answered and Two Weeks have pasted since the answer was added.
Don't let me down, OpenStudy.
LOL isnt that what preetha wanted to avoid? direct answers?
Well I guess we're gonna have to do this as a team to make it work. :')
most likely
