OpenStudy (plainntall):

What is a "translation" transformation? Is it "turning it", "flipping it" or "sliding and gliding" it?

OpenStudy (kinged):

translation means moving, and that's "sliding and gliding" it.

OpenStudy (plainntall):

So we don't rotate it and we don't flip it, we move it up or down. What option has us moving the coordinates the same direction? First option is C(0,0) which is the current position so it didn't slide or glide. What about the second option? Original C(0,0), A (-2,1) T(-1, 4) New C(2,0), A(0,1), T( 1, 4)?

OpenStudy (nevershouteliz):
