A poem that I wrote for Orlando's shoot out

Somethings happen, something that has hurt millions, 
A sad story that has everyone crying out in unfairness, 
Death fills the air as it takes the souls that were murdered home, 
Home is a better place for them, but they went there to early, 
Families gather around hoping that they will find peace, 
All because of one person, one man that killed many, and hurt thousands, 
He has them all crying out for brothers, sisters, wives, husbands, etc.
We pray to God that he has taken them all by the hand and brought them all safely home, 
People all around gather trying to help those who lost someone, 
Closing our eyes and opening our hearts 
We pray for the lost, the families,  and anyone who was hurt, 
With one finally promise, one more goodbye, 
We try to move on as best as we can, 
Forever in our hearts the ones killed will never be forgotten
