Question

So I have to write a paragraph about a passage in a book. He wants us to first write on the paper the passage in the book exactly how its written in MLA format, then write what you think about it. How would I format the passage? Would I do it how Purdue OWL says I should quote it for long quotations? or what?? I need help!
