@Jadeishere

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

i just can't figure it out

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

Do you know what an indefinite article is?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

kind of

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

In Spanish, the indefinite article is the "el, la, los, las, unos" Basically, the masculinity or femininity of a noun. In the question; Escoge el artículo indefinido para "definición". It's asking you to determine what the indefinite article it has, whether or not it's el or la or un or una. The same with the second and the third, when mixing an indefinite article with de or a, it changes. Voy a + la = al, de + el = del

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

For definicion, it's "la", it's considered to have a feminine indefinite article. For the second, it's "voy al parque" For the third, it's "Salimos (we leave) de la fiesta"

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

wait why is it al and not de el

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

While de el would work, it's not considered correct in most Spanish-Speaking countries. And if you were to say "voy del parque" you'd literally be saying "I Park"

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

oh ok can you check a couple more on another post?

OpenStudy (superhelp101):

thank you !

OpenStudy (jadeishere):

I'm not going to be on very long, but I'll do what I can
