OpenStudy (liv33):

A swim club charges a one-time registration fee of $30, plus $18 per month, to maintain the membership. What is the total charge for a membership of t years? A. 18(t+30) B. t(12*18)+30 C. t*18/30 D. $126

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

registration fee is $30 monthly fee is $18, so $18 per month \(m\) add this all up and you get the equation \(30+18m\) to get one year's worth you have to multiply the monthly fee by 12 (12 months in a year), and the variable becomes \(t\) so you would get the equation \(30+(18\times12\times t)\)

OpenStudy (liv33):

so the answer is B?

OpenStudy (kittiwitti1):

yes sorry about that, had to go get something
