I know the area of this triangle is 45 but can someone explain to me the steps to the solution?

Well just remember that the area of a triangle can be expressed as \(\large A_{Triangle} = \frac{1}{2}bh\)

So that gives us \(\large A = \frac{1}{2}\times (15)\times (6)\) ORRRRR as you know already...45
