OpenStudy (maemae16):

OpenStudy (maemae16):

@jh99 @Thatonegirl_

OpenStudy (templeguy):

@maemae16 I'll answer yours if you answer mine

OpenStudy (templeguy):

And plus, I already did that question

OpenStudy (maemae16):

i may not be able to answer your s but i can try but no promises tho

OpenStudy (templeguy):

ok

OpenStudy (templeguy):

ok

OpenStudy (templeguy):

I need help in humor class Can you answer my question? I take a humor class because I wanna be a television writer. So they gave us this video to see but what is the joke from 12:34 - 12:50? http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x3hrv5o

OpenStudy (maemae16):

just post them here and ill see what i can do

OpenStudy (templeguy):

i just did

OpenStudy (maemae16):

i can't get on that site its blocked on my school computer sorry

OpenStudy (templeguy):

oh

OpenStudy (maemae16):

yah sorry i wish i could help you tho will you still help me

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

do you know how to do polynomial division or synthetic division? as that's what's needed in the 1st question. for the second question you can use the remainder theorem look at the denominator x + 3 what value of x makes the denominator zero, then take that value of x and substitute it into the numerator and get a value. The value will be the remainder

OpenStudy (maemae16):

i don't know how to do any of that

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

oh well... that makes it really difficult to explain it if you don't know the division techniques or the remainder theorem.

OpenStudy (maemae16):

no

OpenStudy (maemae16):

I've never done or herd of any of that

OpenStudy (maemae16):

@Thatonegirl_

OpenStudy (campbell_st):

well given you have questions that require those skills, I would have thought it would have been taught to you, or been included in notes or something.

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

Oh hey i just taught someone synthetic division yesterday.. i'll see if i can tag u in it and if you look through it it should help you.

OpenStudy (maemae16):

plato doesn't ever teach you everything you need to know

OpenStudy (maemae16):

@Thatonegirl_ i didn't understand any of that

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

I tagged you in the other post where i explained it all

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

https://www.khanacademy.org/video/synthetic-division here's a video that shows it better

OpenStudy (maemae16):

ok you know the dumb blonde stereotypical cheerleader (that is in every tv show lol) thats me when it comes to doing anything with numbers

OpenStudy (maemae16):

@Kinged can you help

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

lol you can do this. I gotta go actually so i don't have the time to explain it all to u rn sorry :(

OpenStudy (maemae16):

@Thatonegirl_ it won't let me watch it cuz its a youtube video because youtube is blocked

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

Actually, you can't even use synthetic division on either. So you have to use long division

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

someone check me on this but for the first one i got... \[x ^{2}+5x-3-\frac{ 5x+4 }{ x ^{2}+1 }\]

OpenStudy (maemae16):

these are the answer choices for the first one

OpenStudy (maemae16):

these are the answer choices for the second one

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

ooo i sorta got the last one -5x+4 xD

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

feeling like -88 is the second one. U just gotta long divide

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

Ohhh it is the remainder. So yes those r the correct answers :D

OpenStudy (thatonegirl_):

I'll show you the work tomorrow, i gotta go. Night and good luck with the rest of this :)

OpenStudy (maemae16):

thank you
