A. variable -- a symbol for a number not known yet...usually a letter like x or y
coefficient -- a number multiplied by a variable...example : 6x , coefficient is 6
constant is just a number on its own.

B. you will need to sub in 25 for h(hours) and 300 for s(sales).
750(25) + 0.20(300) + 40 = you can do the math

C. She was making 7.50h and now, if she gets the raise, she is making 9.00h...look at the definitions above and see what changes. And it would change because she is getting paid more per hr.
