Can anyone walk me through how to do this problem? http://prntscr.com/bkoway

OpenStudy (triciaal):

do you know the slope-intercept equation?

OpenStudy (triciaal):

can you plot the point (-9, 3)? can you identify the line x= 9? what do you know about perpendicular lines?

OpenStudy (mathguy5):

It is y=mx+b I know how to plot the point and line =x9 is a point resting on 0,9. Don't know much about perpendicular lines.

OpenStudy (triciaal):

ok. but x = 9 means no change is x value slope change in y over 0 for perpendicular lines the product of their slopes is -1
