OpenStudy (markkboyy):

in the following drawing find a if b=4 and c=21 round your answer to two decimal places

OpenStudy (markkboyy):

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

\(a^2+b^2=c^2\implies a^2=c^2-b^2\implies a=\pm\sqrt{c^2-b^2}\) But since we are dealing with positive quantity's, we have \[a=\sqrt{c^2-b^2}\]

OpenStudy (templeguy):

Can someone answer my question?

OpenStudy (markkboyy):

that did not show that in my book for the lesson

OpenStudy (zzr0ck3r):

@templeguy what is your question?
