Do you agree with what this famous mathematician says about learning math?
As far as math getting a bad reputation as being the first impression for kids from adults who misunderstand the subject? Yeah, totally agree. Reminds me a bit of Mathematician's Lament.

He lies in this. He set up the class and had students take it and two other professors all the whole knowing that he was going to make the material so hard that the students would drop and then he could get paid by the college to work on his goal. This is messed up for so many reason I can't even count. It's not like he started to cover the proof and students left, he was not even talking about the same material. He just knew it would be weird if he invited mathematicians over to his house to read his proofs, people would start to ask questions after hours and hours of visits. So some kids got a D on their transcript and I am sure others got an F. What an a**hole.
