Differentiation:

X^2 y =0

my answer is
2xy + y = 0
or
2xy x^prime + y = 0

WHICH is most correct? thanks :))

Assuming you have x^(2)*y=0 and you are differentiation with respeto to x.
Then using the product rule.
you get
2x*y+x^2*y'=0
