Alright, like in the previous question, the definition of genes in the dictionary is: "a unit of heredity that is transferred from a parent to offspring and is held to determine some characteristic of the offspring." So. again, let's pretend I'm a 2nd grader and I know ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about genes, explain in simpler terms what genes actually are to me.
