OpenStudy (cheynicole2001):

find a solution for this system of equations. -10x-6y=0 -4x-6y=54

OpenStudy (shamim):

Just subtract ur first equation frm second equation

MARC (marc_d):

using "elimination method" \[-10x-6y=0\rightarrow~first~EQN\]\[-4x-6y=54\rightarrow~second~EQN\]Step 1: Eliminate uknown y to find value of x..so,start subtracting the first equation from second equation

MARC (marc_d):

Step 2: Once eliminate the y,find the value of x. Step 3: Then, use the value of x to substitute into the first equation to find the value of y.
