OpenStudy (voltsking2099):

An antagonist A. is always a good person B. provides the conflict C. is always a bad person D. always loses in the end

OpenStudy (liv33):

The answer is B.

OpenStudy (liv33):

Because an antagonist is not always a person (as "C" suggests), as it can come from various things (such as weather, man vs. himself etc.). The answer isn't A, because antagonists keep the protagonist away from what he/she wants, therefor isn't good/a person, neither is D, as the antagonist, or the "bad guy" doesn't always lose.
