Mehek (mehek14):
Add them
x + x = 2x
y + -y = 0
12 + 6 = 18
2x + 0 = 18
2x = 18
Divide by 2
x = ?

18/2
OpenStudy (kingogcobraxx):
9
Mehek (mehek14):
so x = 9
(9, ?)
Now we find y
Mehek (mehek14):
Plug 9 for x
x + y = 12
9 + y = 12
12 - 9 = ?

@YumYum247 help ? :) pleeease
OpenStudy (sachintha):
Add the two equations.
\((2d+e)+(d-e)=8+4\)
OpenStudy (kingogcobraxx):
whats the answer homie
OpenStudy (sachintha):
If you simplify it,
\(\begin{array}{ccc}&2d+e+d-e&=&8+4\\&&3d=12\\&&d=4\end{array}\)
The answer would be one having 4. :)

I plotted them. Looks like the solution to this is (6,-1) for which there aren't any choices. But not sure about this.

Ok so y = 3
x = 9, y = 3
Put it in parenthesis
