In "Thank You, M'am," why does Roger try to rob Mrs. Jones? A. He wants money to buy something to eat. B. He wants money to get an apartment of his own. C. He wants money to buy a pair of shoes. D. He wants money to help his family.
Cuz he wants money ;)
Okay i haven't read this story so try asking it in the english section and ima just try to answer this question here using reasoning (;
The first option seems wrong becuase if he wanted to eat food then why would he rob mrs jones! He could directly go and steal some food from somewhere
Same^ applies to option C
Now lets look at option A i don't think he would rob someone to buy an apartment :/ it just doesn't fits well in there.. He sould've robbed a jewellery showroom or whatever to do that so i think option A is also wrong
Now option D which we all know is correct:) (most probably lol) Ok he could've robbed that lady to help his family and maybe the title of the story also supports this statement "Thank You, M'am for getting robbed and helpin save my fam" BUT He needed money to save his fam? Hmm maybe He couldn't directly tell the truth and get some help from other people? Hmm maybe he was not in control and he just did what came to his mind..
again tellin i haven't read this story and whatever i said was based on reasoning To get more help try asking it in the english section :)
thank you. it was A
