OpenStudy (luhvon):

You are a landscaper and need to mulch 15 yards of plant beds. You have 20 bags of mulch and each bag covers 3 feet.How many bags of mulch will you have left over?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

Each bag of mulch covers 3 feet. That means 1 bag of mulch covers 1 yard of plant beds. (because 3feet = 1yard) You need to cover 15 yards, how many bags will you need ?

OpenStudy (math&ing001):

@luhvon heellooooo

OpenStudy (luhvon):

i dont know i tried already thats why im asking for help

OpenStudy (junhaoz):

@luhvon So if each bag gives you one yard, then to get 15 yards you need 15 bags. 20-15=5, so you have 5 bags left over.

OpenStudy (luhvon):

ok right on

OpenStudy (junhaoz):
