Thanks for summarizing it Jagr for those who don't care to read it and like to make issues. :)
:D Now no one can disagree with rules :D
Except me. ;)
Hmmm. Some of those rules probably changed a bit because of the Brainly acquisition.
u made a spelling error, Termination Open Study can and will terminate your membership, delete profile pictures or "AY" user content for any reasons or no reason with or without notice. If a user dies we are not obliged to keep user account active.
thats supposed to be any, i suppose
u also forgot a period at the end of the last one
and u keep saying ay instead of any
He only say "ay" twice instead of any. :P
Yea i know was really tired doing some of them D; Thanks for catching them guys
Good work :)
Thank you :D
TOC has not tbeen touched.
Yes, we know that. This post was meant to summarize the TaC for those who hadn't bothered to read it.
^^^Yes so people can't magically says "This isn't in the rules"
Thank you, @jagr2713, for breaking us the TaC. Now I know what to say EXACTLY when I say something. haha
You're welcome :D Now we have backup :D
How do you know the user is under age? there is not verification of identity
When you sign up now, we ask for their date of birth.
^^
@TheSmartOne, in that case no one that said being underage when register a new account would be able to create an account. If this is the case they shouldn't be able to suspend an account based in the age of the user, since the account could not be ever created to start with. No one can prove the age of the user without a identity verification (i.e. credit card). Until now no one has been able to give me a clear reason why my account has been deleted and all my SmartPoint lost. And the plain answer that I got from @BrainlyOfficial was: "It looks like your original account was deleted due to inactivity. Unfortunately we cannot restore your old account. But keep helping others and you'll get back to your old score in no time! Thank you" I have to assume that the only rule that they applied was @jagr2713: "Open Study can and will terminate your membership, delete profile pictures or ay user content for any reasons or no reason with or without notice. If a user dies we are not obliged to keep user account active" It is too sad see this kind of rules in a site dedicated to education and promoting the logic reasoning. They can not even prove if the user it is dead or alive either, neither is clear how they measured the inactivity of my account.
That clause is in the TaC just so that OpenStudy will not have to be responsible for anything they do :P
Well we verify age by you basically telling on your self or by grade. But i am sorry for your account getting deleted. But in the past, i heard news that a lot of users accounts were terminated because of inactivity.
Thank You for the reminder. @jagr2713
You're welcome :D
Nice summary! Couldn't have said it better. Ah, reminds me of the ambassador training days...
