Antibiotic theraphy a. a 58 y/o man with a 60 pack year smoking history and COPD presents with bronchopneumonia, his resp rate is 34/min but there are no other features of severity, select 2 appropriate treatments, that would be appropriate for empiric initial therapy b. Select 1 treatment for the same patient, if he were to have a history of penicillin allergy. (i'll post questions c-e later)
c. select one treatment for a 33 year old man with bilateral facial pain and green nasal discharge of 4 days duration. d. select one treatment for a 7 year old girl with tonsilitis and a history of penicillin allergy e. select one treatment for a 24 year old student who was previously healthy with a 7 day history of cough with mucopurulent sputum production. There are no signs o consolidation or respiratory distress.
