I'm not too sure with your given information.. Depreciation can be linear, in addition to being exponential

When a car loses value it is called depreciation.

Exponential depreciation, decline, decay, should all be fine. I don't think it matters much.

When the appreciation/depreciation is exponential, we usually call the change exponential growth/decay. As @agent0smith mentioned, decline, decay, depreciation all mean going down in value, and should all be understandable.
