a) homeostasis, i guess..only if he doesn't have any parasitic infection or your are talking about core temperature.
homeostasis is the process of heat regulation in our body. When it is cold out, homeostasis causes the body to shiver to warm the muscles. When it is hot out the body sweats which will evaporate and cool the body down.
