What is the scalar wave equation in three space dimensions?
@ganeshie8 Sorry I accidentally closed the question
"If you are walking at 1 m/s inside a bus that is travelling at 10 m/s on a road, what is your velocity with reference to road ?"
Velocity = d/t ?
Heyy
That first question is very, very different to "If you are walking at 1 m/s inside a bus that is travelling at 10 m/s on a road, what is your velocity with reference to road ?" You should be able to solve this if you think about it. If the bus moves forward at 10 m/s, and you move forward at 1m/s inside it, how fast are you moving? (relative to the ground) If the bus moves forward at 10 m/s, and you move backward at 1m/s inside it, how fast are you moving? (relative to the ground)
How do you solve that with mathematical equations?
If the bus moves at speed v, and you move forward at speed a Your speed relative to the ground is v+a If you move backward; v-a
and the velocity?
Velocity is just speed with direction... How are your questions so vastly different?
Like how are you asking basic stuff about velocity along with your other questions??
@agent0smith Me and @ganeshie8 were having a conversation about the theory of relativity, but the one about dimensions is my original question.
