Which expression shows a sum of five terms? (3 points) 5(x + 5) 5x x5 5 + x + 5 + x + x

OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):

Hi @Photon336

sam (.sam.):

I'll give an example x (1 term) x+2 (2 terms) x+2+x (3 terms) x+2+x+5 (4 terms)

sam (.sam.):

So what do you think?

OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):

oh ok let me see

OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):

d so d is the answer

sam (.sam.):

Yep, and "sum of five terms" means they add together

OpenStudy (beyond_dreams77):

Yes, because terms are pretty much a single number or variable

OpenStudy (beyond_dreams77):

So, equations are made up of them, you just have to count how many, leaving out the functions and making sure it's "adding".

OpenStudy (acespeedfighter):

Ok thx
