This template will help you write a song about ratifying the Constitution. Remember to include lines that explain checks and balances, as well as the viewpoints of the Federalists and Anti-federalists.

In each section, each line should have nearly the same number of words. Opposite lines, meaning line numbers 1 and 3, or 2 and 4, should rhyme at the end. Feel free to use this template in a creative way. You could move the bridge to another location, for example, or use your own rhyming pattern. An example verse appears at the bottom.

Hey this looks pretty fun, but kind of long.

So first off songs have to rhyme right?

So we need three verses.
My suggestion to you would be to write this song as it happened.

So the first verse could be about the new united states after the revolutionary war. Then Chorus. Then second verse about shays rebellion. Then Chorus. Then Bridge about the constitutional convention of 1787. Then Chorus. Then the last verse which would talk about the effects of the new constitution. You'll need to read about these in order to write a song about them.

The main theme in ratifying the constitution is the federalists were trying to convince the anti federalists that the the United states needed a form of national government because government under the articles of confederation were weak.
Find a creative way to say this and it would make a great chorus.

I cant do this for you because of a few reasons:
1. It's not allowed on the site, I've already gotten in trouble once for helping too much.
2. Your teacher will know you didnt do it yourself, because I cant limit your song to what you've learned.
3. You need to learn this stuff! It's important to know.
