I'm having trouble figuring out this problem, can someone explain how to solve it please?

OpenStudy (setsuna-yuregeshi):

OpenStudy (sachintha):

You can simplify the equation by factorizing. \(\large\frac{x^2-x-6}{x^2-4}=\frac{(x+2)(x-3)}{(x+2)(x-2)}\)
